On the Neal Cavuto Show on Fox News, minutes ago, a Guest confirmed that Troy Stanley, the identified Hostage Taker at the Hillary Clinton for President Campaign in Rochester, New Hampshire is a "Libertarian."
The guest further stated that his longtime friend Troy Stanley had a history of mental problems, believed that he had a chip planted inside his head and that the government was "out to get him."
And notably the guest did not say "Libertarian Party" specifically. He stated instead that Stanley "had a connection to the libertarian movement."
No word on whether that connection was to the Ron Paul for President Campaign or just as likely, the Free State Project.
Further News...
They are now reporting on Fox that Stanley "railed against Democrats and Republicans" and was "living in the woods."
He was arrested 3 times this year by local police...
They're now saying Troy Stanley may have an alias of "Leeland Eisenberg" or it could possibly be a different person...
Hostage Crisis Over! Peaceful resolution. No shots fired.
Full identity of Hostage Taker still unknown.
More on potential libertarian or Constitutionalist connection:
From the AP...
Eisenberg made local headlines in March when he held a news conference on the steps of Rochester City Hall to complain about a police policy of placing fliers in unlocked cars warning motorists to lock their doors. “This is nothing more than a gimmick to get around the Constitution and go around in the middle of the night upon unsuspecting citizens in their own yard and search their vehicles,” Eisenberg said.
Final Post for this Thread
At least 5 other Blogs have reported on the "libertarian" and "constitutionalist" angle of the story, including Wonkette.

Well, if an anonymous caller says it, it must be true!
No, not an anonymous caller, but a friend of his that Fox tracked down.
Ah, gotcha. I suppose I'll wait and see, then.
Regardless, this man's connections with libertarianism are not an argument against the validity of libertarian principles. I'm pissed that the media is likely to use it as such anyways. Can't say that I've depended on them for rock hard logic though.
my immediate thought when I heard this story was a Ron Paul loon was behind it. Kinda like "don't tase me bro'"
Quite a few weirdo's have or claim to have some connection to political movements, and all political movements have some in them until hopefully they get weeded out.
If a Democrat loony did this the 'guest' probably wouldn't have made it to air of course.
I think he is probably too much of a nutter even for Rons people.
Are we certain it wasn't actually Congressman Paul himself, using an alias, hah.
This guy is starting to sound more and more like a Ron Paul supporter. The naming of him by someone who knows him on Fox as a "libertarian". The "conspiracy theories." The "chip planted in his head." The aliases. And now this coming over AP, that he protested policy infringing on his Constitutional rights.
So the guy is, in fact, identified as Leeland Eisenberg... not Troy Stanley.
While it's great that you leapt to report your wild assumptions about this guy's supposed libertarianism and alleged support for Ron Paul, his own words make it sound pretty damned unlikely:
"I need to speak to Hillary Clinton," CNN quoted him as saying. "Something's got to change. Ordinary people need help" with their insurance.
Do you really think that's something that a libertarian Paul supporter would say? Really?
And do you have any support whatsoever for your conjecture that Troy Stanley is Eisenberg's alias, or did you just pull that out of your ass?
He has mental problems just like you Rittberg/Dondero. But did he ever show up at a meeting of the Christian Coalition high on cocaine, boasting about his mythical sexual conquests? If so, he has a lot in common with you.
He was probably connected to libertarian-Republicans like Rudy, who always foam the mouth over Hillary Clinton.
I guess my initial post should have said, "Well, if Fox News says it, it must be true!"
"
Do you really think that's something that a libertarian Paul supporter would say? Really?"

Yes, Paul has support from COMMUNIST and NEO-NAZIS(FASCIST)....and from every other fringe nut sector. the Commies know a 'useful idiot' when they see one.
Ahem.
"... a libertarian Paul supporter would say?"
Do you really equate "libertarian" with "communist" and/or "fascist"?
And again, I ask, is there any evidence whatsoever that Eisenberg is in any way a Paul supporter? (HINT: unsubstantiated frothing doesn't count.)
