by Eric DonderoNewsMax has a major investigative piece this morning exposing ACORN's use of federal funds for partisan campaign activity. ACORN gets 40% of their income from the Feds. Whistle blowers from ACORN are now suggesting that a significant amount of their federal funds are being spent on partisan politics, mostly spent on supporting leftist candidates for public office. From NewsMax:
The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) bills itself as a non-partisan group, supported by tax-exempt contributions from individuals and corporations. As much as it pains libertarians and conservatives to hear, technically, ACORN may be in the right on this? ACORN might have non-partisan status through their advocacy of third parties like the Socialist New Party in Chicago, and the Communist Party USA.
The ACORN Housing Corp. (AHC), an ACORN affiliate, receives more than 40 percent of its funding from government sources, ostensibly to promote affordable housing to low-and middle-income families.
But according to CRL, internal documents obtained from whistleblowers suggest that ACORN has failed to maintain the proper distinction between its tax-exempt housing work and its aggressive political activities.
From the Blog RoadSassy:
Co-founded in 1992 by Daniel Cantor (a former staffer for Jesse Jackson’s 1988 presidential campaign) and Joel Rogers (a sociology and law professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison), the New Party was a Marxist political coalition whose objective was to endorse and elect leftist public officials — most often Democrats. The New Party’s short-term objective was to move the Democratic Party leftward, thereby setting the stage for the eventual rise of new Marxist third party.
Most New Party members hailed from the Democratic Socialists of America and the militant organization ACORN. The party’s Chicago chapter also included a large contingent from the Committees of Correspondence, a Marxist coalition of former Maoists, Trotskyists, and Communist Party USA members.
Though Illinois was not one of the states that permitted electoral fusion, in 1995 Barack Obama nonetheless sought the New Party’s endorsement for his 1996 state senate run. He was successful in obtaining that endorsement, and he used a number of New Party volunteers as campaign workers.
So it appears that these candidates did not run on dual-party tickets, but rather as Democrats with the full endorsement and support of the Socialist New Party and CPUSA. Obama, for instance, back in 1996 appears to have done precisely this, runing as a Democrat but with substantial backing of the Socialist New Party and Communist Party. Many documents from these parties from that era, since Obama's candidacy have "dissappeared," so we may never know? But how ironic it would be if ACORN escaped federal indictment on charges of using federal funds for partisan activity, if they used their backing for Socialist third parties who inturn backed Democrat line holders, as proof they "spread they wealth around."
Notably, rightwing third parties like the Libertarian Party, Constitution Party, or Alaska Independence Party never got a dime from ACORN.
Editor's Note - I fully realize by publishing this article I may have just inadvertently given the ACORN legal team a line of defense. Hopefully, ACORN lawyers don't read Libertarian Republican blog. But if they do, and they offer me compensation for my brillant but amateurish legal advice, I fully pledge to donate 100% of any funds I receive from them to the Libertarian Party.

The plot is thickening, hmmm.
Critical thinking? They have got to be kidding! Critical thinking in American schools is a product of a bygone era. Who do these commie bastards think they are trying bullshit? Well, that is obviously a rhetorica question, as the have been successful in the dumbing down process through the school system for decdes now. You can bet your ass, if I had kids between six and eighteen, I would not let them anywhere near a government school.
Critical thinking indeed!
Sorry for the typos, as I am in a hurry!
