Mass. Libertarian: Plymouth stands up against Nazi grafiti, but doesn't mind National Socialists in our Federal Government

The historical town of Plymouth, Massachusetts has a serious grafiti problem. Seems some local youth have been vandalizing a popular local park, and spraying swastikas and other hateful symbols on the monuments and recreational buildings.

This prompted local Libertarian and Marine veteran Jay Beauragard to pen an editorial in the Plymouth Weekly July 4:

I’m glad that the town is standing up to symbols of national socialism. I just wish that my fellow citizens would stand up to the national socialists in our federal government. But I guess that wouldn’t be politically correct.

What bothers me most is that as you read this July 4, it has never been made a hate crime to target our servicemen here in the States. Case in point: William Long and Quinton Ezeagwula, both soldiers in the United States Army, were shot outside an Army recruiting center in Arkansas. Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad wanted to kill American soldiers and did so. According to our leftist government there was no hate crime. I disagree! Then again, the left has never been very fond of our servicemen and women.

William and Quinton knew that they may be killed in combat abroad and accepted that. I’m sure they never felt that they had to fear getting murdered here by a left wing extremist.

May God be with them.
From the Weekly: Jay Beauregard, born and raised in Plymouth, served four years in the Marine Corps and has worked for 29 years at a local company. He is a Libertarian who served three terms as a Town Meeting rep from Precinct 6.

I suggest you go back and look for another photo. I grew up in the Boston area and that doesn't look like Plimouth.
